We, as His creation, exist to fulfil His purposes, and He actively works through us to achieve His good pleasure. This reminds us that nothing occurs on earth without His knowledge, and He acts according to His divine will. It calls us to surrender to His authority and divine plan, knowing that all He does in our lives ultimately serves our good.

Trusting in God's Provision

As we pray "Give us this day our daily bread" we are reassured that God knows our needs before we even ask. He is our ultimate provider, capable of meeting all our needs, whether they are material or spiritual. His wisdom even encompasses providing for needs we may not yet be aware of—needs that may not always be tangible but remain crucial to our well-being and even to our salvation.

In the same breath, we are called to forgive others just as God has forgiven us, even though we are undeserving of this mercy..
